Preferred Therapy Services is a licensed home health agency serving the pediatric community of the DFW metroplex.  Preferred is the home health division of Eric Powell and Associates, PLLC which additionally operates as a contract therapy company. 

Eric Powell & Associates was established in 1999 providing high priority patients and families with a wide variety of skilled therapeutic speech pathology home services.

Eric Powell is a licensed, certified Speech-Language Pathologist.  He is the CEO of Preferred Therapy Services and Eric Powell & Associates.

Tim Chase is a business graduate operating as CFO of Preferred Therapy Services and Eric Powell & Associates.

Per Texas law and for your convenience, home services are provided in the location of the patient's (or family's) choosing - home, day care, school, church - rather than at the actual location of the home health agency. 

Recent events

In June, the Preferred Therapy team joined the Miracle League of Frisco for their celbration of special athletes at the final games and award ceremonies wrapping up the 2012 baseball season. The March for Respect is a one and a half mile walk through downtown Dallas created to show all Texans with developmental disabilities that they are not alone.
